It was good to see everyone today.....a special welcome to CS, CS and NH, our 3 new members. It was also great to see an old friend, JC. Hope to see you again soon.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I'm still stuffed!
We'll be meeting tomorrow morning, December 1st, from 10:00 - 11:30 am in Community Room B on the 2nd floor of the Yonkers Riverfront Library (914-375-7966).
If you're interested in joining our group just stop by with your materials and you'll be knitting, crocheting and making new friends in no time!
Below is a picture of Marge, one of our members, modeling a scarf that she made. Marge ran out of yarn before the scarf was completed and was having a very hard time matching it. We were all keeping our eyes open when we went shopping but we did not see the same yarn. Luckily her sister was able to find another skein after a lengthy search. Oh...the perils of knitting!!!!!

EXCITING ADDITION

We had a great summer! I was surprised that there was such a good turnout at each workshop, considering summer vacations and the rain!
Thanks to Aurora for covering on Tuesday! She had a great time!

Goodbye to summer

We had a good group again today. This was the last day for some of our young members...school starts next week! Good luck and have fun in school this year. Where did the summer go?
As of September 15th, we will be the Yonkers Riverfront Library Knitting/Crocheting Workshop.
Yes, as of September 15th you can stop by the Yonkers Riverfront Library (914)-375-7966 to learn how to knit or learn how to crochet.
Just bring your own knitting materials and the lovely ladies in our workshop with show you how to get started or help you complete a project you are already working on.
The crocheting group will be working on a simple project. We'll supply the materials for this first project in the new workshop. Of course, you can bring your own materials if you have them.
That's Tuesday mornings, from 10:00 am - 11:30 am.
We'll be meeting in Community Room B on Tuesday, September 8th.
